You know, I’m not even debating whether or not they’re “good” in the traditional sense. But they have a lot of original imagery and sound and just managing to not sound like every other piece of crap released gets big points from me.
Besides… it’s entertaining in a weird way. And that doesn’t hurt.

That was a surprisingly large boom. I bet the snipers on that hill would agree.
I believe they’re towards $60,000 (which seems like a lot). Don’t get me wrong… they’re really effective as the video below will show. But to get 1 guy? And I guess it’s all the video games… but at a couple points all I could think was “aim at the guy in the middle and get all 3″. And really… I thought they were more for anti-vehicle operations, not anti-personnel. I’d think the cannon they use so effectively elsewhere in the video would suffice.
But whatever. Here’s to massive overkill.
