Caving: December 2005
One thing you'll notice about the people I run with is that we will never leave on time. EVER. For ANYTHING. That said, we were going to meet at my house around 6:30. We left around 9pm. The great thing about caves is that they aren't going to get any darker...so it doesn't matter when you go. Also, time of year doesn't matter because it's always a little better than 50ºF in there depending on how close to an entrance\exit you are. Taking pictures however is NOT easy. The humidity\cave dust both interfere.

You'll see all sorts of stuff floating around in front of the camera. Another problem is that it tends to be pretty dark in caves. As such the pictures you see here will all have been retouched to some extent. Huzzah for photoshop.

It's a good thing Tucker doesn't have issues with being underground.
Because damned if you didn't have to think skinny in this section of cave. My feet can touch the ceiling and floor at the same time.
Here is the crew taking a break.
It was Tucker and Rebecca's first time caving. I am pretty sure they had fun...but I know for a fact that their helmets did NOT. It's low clearance stuff people. If I had a nickel for every *whack* I heard it may have payed for the gas to get there.
In one room the texture was so rough Chris could pretty much stick to the walls.
That is very close to straight up and down, and he is just kinda sitting on it.
Good times.
